Kobbie Mainoo trained with his Manchester United team-mates on Wednesday and sported a new look as he prepares to return from a two-month absence.
The 19-year-old debuted a new haircut as he trained at Carrington on Wednesday ahead of Thursday’s Europa League quarter-final at Lyon.
He has been absent since picking up a muscular issue in training in February.
The homegrown star has been named in the squad which will travel to France for Thursday’s clash, although it is unclear if he will play.
United defender Matthijs de Ligt was conspicuous by his absence from training having missed Sunday’s 0-0 derby draw at home to Manchester City.
Toby Collyer also missed the session with a knock, joining Lisandro Martinez, Amad Diallo, Jonny Evans and Ayden Heaven on the sidelines.

Mainoo’s last appearance was against Leicester City in the FA Cup fourth round on February 7
Luke Shaw again trained with the group having returned to the bench in the Manchester derby after four months out.
The left-back is also included in the travelling squad to face Lyon at the Groupama Stadium.
Harry Maguire, Mason Mount and Leny Yoro all missed United’s last European assignment against Real Sociedad but all three are in for this one.
Jaydan Kamason, 18, and Jack Moorhouse, 19, are both in the squad andtherefore in contention to make their debuts in the clash.
United go into the last-eight tie knowing the Europa League is their last hope of silverware this season, and their last realistic chance of booking a ticket to the Champions League.
Lyon have won eight of their last 10 fixtures, scoring 29 goals in that time and at least two in any given game.
The tie threatens to be overshadowed by a row which has broken out between United goalkeeper Andre Onana and Nemanja Matic, a former Red Devil who now plays for Lyon.
It began with Onana claiming that United are ‘better than’ their opponents, with Matic, who left Old Trafford in 2022, hitting back with his brutal reply about him ‘one of the worst goalkeepers in Man United history’.

Previewing the tie, Onana had initially said Lyon are a ‘very good team’ but that ‘I think we are better than them’.
And that comment prickled Matic, 36, who hit back: ‘To say that, you need to have cover to say something like that. Onana, I respect everyone, but to say that, then you need to give an answer.
‘If you are one of the worst goalkeepers in Man United history, you need to take care what you are talking about.
‘If David de Gea, or Peter Schmeichel, or (Edwin) Van der Sar said that, then I will question myself.
‘But if you are one of the statistically worst goalkeepers in Man United modern history, he needs to show that (they’re better) before he says.’
Onana has clarified his comments about Lyon but taken a dig at Matic’s five trophyless years with United in a post on X.
He wrote: ‘I would never be disrespectful to another club. We know that tomorrow will be a difficult game against a strong opponent. We focus on preparing a performance to make our fans proud.
‘At least I’ve lifted trophies with the greatest club in the world. Some can’t say the same.’
