Steel oligarch Vladimir Lisin — who seeks re-election as president of the International Shooting Sport Federation on Wednesday — has a selection of stuffed animals on display at his range.

The Russian, 66, is on the sanctions list of many countries, including Australia, and has been accused of providing steel for Vladimir Putin’s war machine.

And despite Lisin claiming that his organisation is pro-green, it can be revealed that he displays a gruesome gallery of prey at his facility near Moscow.

The revelation will no doubt raise questions over the billionaire’s suitability for the role ahead of Wednesday’s vote.

Lisin is up against Italian opponent Luciano Rossi in what is expected to be a tight battle and, if successful, will return to the International Olympic Committee to oversee shooting at Paris in 2024.

US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken was last month urged to sanction Lisin, amid claims his company is playing a key role in Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
