Barcelona are reportedly considering a move for Manchester United right-back Diogo Dalot, having their scouts to watch him on numerous occasions.
Portugal international Dalot is now in the final 12 months of his contract at Old Trafford after joining for £19million back in the summer of 2018 from Porto.
The 23-year-old has not been a regular starter for United until this season, where he has played every single Premier League under new boss Erik ten Hag.

The Red Devils have the option to extend the Portuguese defender’s contract by another year, but talks are not said to be at an advanced stage.
The Catalan giants are reportedly monitoring the situation as they look for a replacement for Sergino Dest, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano in his Caught Offside column.
‘It’s absolutely too early to speak about a deal for Dalot. Barcelona have sent their scouts to follow Diogo, they appreciate him but they are tracking many right-backs and not only the Portuguese,’ Romano said.

‘Man United have a clause to extend the deal for one more year, this is a point. For Sergino Dest, at the moment Barca have no plans to confirm him and that’s why he left to join AC Milan on loan.
‘United could also give Dalot a new long-term contract, but talks are not advanced for the moment.
‘He’s become an important player for Erik ten Hag, so let’s see if they can secure his future soon.’
Dalot made just 34 appearances in all competitions in his first two seasons with the Red Devils
Dalot made 34 appearances in all competitions in his first two seasons at United before he was loaned out for the season to AC Milan in 2020-21.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer still preferred Aaron Wan-Bissaka on Dalot’s return to Old Trafford but interim boss Ralf Rangnick liked him and ensured he played 30 times in all competitions last term.
New boss Ten Hag has stuck with Dalot so far this season and he has been an almost ever-present for United.
