Football fans have mocked Nottingham Forest after the Premier League newcomers lost 3-2 to Fulham on Friday night.
Steve Cooper’s side were 1-0 up on the night through Taiwo Awoniyi before a stunning six-minute salvo from Fulham saw them score three times through Tosin Adarabioyo, Joao Palhinha and Harrison Reed.
Lewis O’Brien pulled a goal back, but Fulham held on, leaving Forest in 19th place with just four points from seven games.

They have now also conceded 17 times, and thrown away leads to lose 3-2 against both Fulham and Bournemouth – the two teams they came up with from the Championship last year.
Forest had caught the headlines this summer after signing 22 players and spending more than £150million in the transfer market.
However, it has not gone to plan, with many questioning the impact of signing so many new players and spending so much money.
Last night’s disappointing defeat, which saw £120,000 a week marquee signing Jesse Lingard dropped, only ramps up the pressure on the club.
And fans were quick to criticise the club and their summer business after the loss.
One said: ‘Nottingham Forest are going to be the only club in history to finish on less points than signings they made in the summer.’
Another added: ‘Steve Cooper really said ‘lets chuck 20 randoms together and take on the Premier League.’
A further fan quipped: ‘Second collapse in a row for Steve Cooper’s Forest, both against the other promoted sides. After spending £140 million, my heart bleeds.’
This was backed up elsewhere as one said: ‘Nottingham Forest signed 21 players just to get relegated.’

Fans also slammed Cooper and his inability to pick up points against Forest’s supposed relegation rivals.
A fan said: ‘If Nottingham Forest can’t beat their contemporaries, who dem wan beat?’
Another user explained: ‘You leave experienced Premier League players like Dennis and Kouyate on the bench. Steve Cooper might get sacked soon.’
Dean Henderson was also on the receiving end of criticism after making the move to the City Ground on a season-long loan this summer.
A critical fan said: ‘Henderson went to Nottingham forest to show United what they are missing, 7 matches into the season he has swallowed 17 goals.’
Meanwhile, Lingard’s transfer to Forest this summer was a major talking point of the window after he reportedly snubbed several teams to join Cooper’s side.
One of these teams was West Ham, and their fans threw fake £50 notes at him when they played Forest at the City Ground earlier this year.
After he was benched last night, supporters were quick to mock Forest spending such an outlay on his wages.
One said: ‘Jesse Lingard is getting £200,000 a week whilst sitting on the bench for 19th placed Nottingham Forest who are currently 1-3 down at home against Fulham.’
Another added: ‘Jesse Lingard benched again & getting less than 30mins in the pitch. He’s robbed Nottingham Forest blind. No pre-season because he spent the summer doing tic-tock’s all over America. Never been so happy to miss out on a player.’
